Whitehouse Farm CL, Heathcote Hartington, No.336 in site Directory. Ashbourne Heights Caravan Park, Fenny Bently, a commercial site. Washbrook Farm, Fenny Bently a C&CC CS. National Trust CP at Ilam....used to be  CC site.

All these are close to the Tissington Trail with the 2 at Fenny Bently adjacent to it.

We stayed here http://www.rivendalecaravanpark.co.uk/  direct access to Tissington Trail across the road.  We stayed here for access to the Trail for Cycling.  There is nothing wrong with this site and
is very popular but not our favourite it is just a personel thing as in an old quarry and hubby prefers more trees.  Some of the pitches are small so if you go make sure you have book a suitable size pitch.

I should have said you need to go out the main entrance and cross the road to a lane on the opposite side of the road and then access the trail.  Google map it as you can see clearly on that.  However it was very easy and not a problem for us.

Longnor Wood (adults only).  The Tissington Trail is easily picked up at Parsley Hay - about a fifteen minute drive from the site.

There are a number of CLs that are close to or adjacent the High Peak Trail, which joins the Tissington Trail at Parsley Hay. If you want their names, Jane, just give me the nod and I'll list them for you.
