Energy Saving Bulbs

Decided today to replace the light bulbs in our lounge and dining room with LED's. I have done the rest of the house with a combination of low energy and LED but left the lounge / dinning room, as they are on dimmers and the bulbs have been vey expensive.
However Asda stock a very reasonably priced range of dimable LED's. Unfortunately the dimmer is the touch sensitive kind, no physical on off switch. Although it dims the LED's it refuses to turn them totally off. So looks like a new switch as well. Thought
this might be of interest to anyone thinking of doing the same.
