new to motorhoming - any advice welcome

Hi,  We are new to motorhoming and just purchasing our first motorhome.  So look for advice and tips.  Been told not to cook inside the home so any advice on what to use outside also any recommendations for tables and chairs.  We are having a canopy fixed
on the motorhome but not sure about a free standing awning.  All advice very welcomed.  Thanks.
