If everyone is off by 12noon, what's the problem with arriving a 12 noon??

There could of course be a van or more going out exactly at 12:00 who would bump into, figuratively speaking I hope, a van or more coming in at 12:00, so there could be quite a blockage.

We are at Malvern, stated arrival time is after 12 noon.  As we went out today, at 11.33, a caravan pulled in.

Presumably one who does not think the 12 noon arrival time applies to them.

Site is surprisingly busy.  Most hardstandings in use, plus quite a few grass pitches.

    One of our favourite sites.

Oh come on Nellie.......seriously, what are the chances of 'quite a blockage' happening in the 30 seconds or so either side of 12 noon?

Currently at The Firs CC site arrival time 12.00, first arrival today 11.15. The wardens are still cleaning the toilets at this time, there is only one set of wardens here. As there is no LNA here and 1 van will cause problems with the road outside, 1 of
the wardens had to go across to the office to book them in. Shortly after that another one arrived, I think there was 3 vans that arrived before 12.00.

10 minutes early I can understand, it can be difficult to be precise.  But more than that is just careless.

Could happen though. Depends who if any is willing to give a bit.

Kjell, not far away at tewkesbry, all grass here and pitches are in good condition, sun mow really trying hard after a slow burner of a day....

We like Tewkesbury too, but as we booked well ahead (back in March) we did not want to risk the grass pitches.

    Warm but humid here.

    Opening Post

The CC really needs to get it act together and support its wardens. Arrived today at Berwick Seaview at 12:40, as did several other vans, to find we should not have arrived until 1pm. I gather this is a fairly recent change, it certainly was not mentioned
on our booking confirmation, made in December. However, more importantly it was not mentioned in the enjoy your holiday email they sent on the 28th May. This clearly states under useful information, earliest arrival 12:00. The web page for the site now mentions
it, but as we have been so many times before I had not recently consulted it. Clearly it is not fair on the wardens who are trying to manage a 1pm arrival, while the CC are sending emails saying folk can arrive from 12 noon.
I will of course email the club about this but thought other future residents should be made aware. Disregard the times in your welcome email.

Still no email back from the club, despite sending at the time of posting (5 weeks ago) and again a week later. They are constantly telling us that concerns should be communicated to HO rather than aired on CT. At least on here we did get a response of sorts

It really is not at all polite to send an automated email saying we normally respond within 48 hours and then never reply. From other comments on CT it would seem this is far from a one off. I had actually forgotten about this, but then another post today
    jogged my memory.

It's not very professional of the CC is it?

Would not have happened in my old company, not twice anyway!

    Steve

In your circumstances I would write again pointing out how long you have been waiting for a reply.

Just on your point about bringing something up on the forum viz a viz writing to the Club. Surely the distinction is whether the subject matter is useful to a wider membership, as this thread is, as opposed to something which is more personal that does not
affect the whole membership? An example might be an unpleasent interaction between a member and Club staff which invariably is not as straight forward as it might seem and is better dealt with privately.

What is important is whether the CC replies promptly and with efficiency, the worst scenario is standard replies and non resolution.

My opening post from the 5th June

Rochelles post from the 17th June

    Hi everyone,

The Sites team have been working on this and are making changes to the communications so as to reflect the correct arrival times.

    Thank you,

Today I received an enjoy your holiday email for Grafham Water, telling me I could arrive from 12 noon. It clearly states on the web site that the earliest arrival is 13:00. Wether they have changed the emails for Berwick
I have no idea. However, they are still clearly sending out inaccurate emails for other sites. I afraid I am not going to email the CC again, as I still have not received a response about Berwick. I will just report this post, in the vain hope someone will
    take notice.

I've had an "Enjoy your holiday" email from the club today regarding my booking for Exmoor House site next month, and it clearly states that the earliest arrival is 13.00 on there.

Has EH changed recently, or has it been 13:00 for a while, like Chatsworth? I think Berwick changed start of 2015 and GW at the beginning of this year. However, that does not excuse the failure to updated communications.
