Hi all, just home after 2 weeks in the black forest and returned on the rotterdam - hull overnight ferry. On returning to our car this morning, it would not open with the key fob so i used the key to enter and tried the ignition nothing, not even a light
on the dashboard?? the car is a 7 month old vauxhall insignia, anyway the good lads at p+o got me a battery pack and we got the car running after a 10 mins (sorry if you was in the queue behind me) has anyone any idea what may have caused this? i am unsure
if the car alarm had drained the battery , the car had shut itself down or if the van had taken power from the car for the fridge, although i thought once the car was off this cut power to the van? when we arrived home i tried the vans internal lights using
the 12v battery and they hardly lit,  this leads me to think the van may still be drawing power from the car even with the ignition off, does anyone on the forum have any other view's? thanks
