Used caravan price Guide

Does anyone know of a  caravan magazine that features a used caravan price guide? none of the main caravan magazines seem to feature this including the Caravan Clubs monthly issue-perhaps something to consider for the future, i'm sure members would find this beneficial when trading in their caravans. I believe the caravan traders and insurers have access to used prices but its harder to access this information for the  caravan buying public. Plenty of car magazines have used car price guide information in them can't understand why the caravan magazines don't.

    I only know of Glasses Guide for this and it is only for trade.

    The best you can do is look through dealers adverts to get an idea what they are looking for.

    Match your caravan on the 'Caravan Finder' web site, see what price it is selling for and take an amount off for the dealer profit. At least it will give you a starting point.

    Look at Autotrader (caravan section) and see what they are selling for.

    We rang our dealer and explained that we needed the info for Insurance purposes. They're usually happy to provide it, just don't do it regularly.

    Thanks everyone for your help, wonder if there will ever be a proper used price guide published, i'm sure it would be most welcome.

    I think the sheer number of caravan models avaiable in this country and the limited numbers of each actually built makes it difficult to get the information needed. Glasses get their information from dealers as caravans are taken in and sold by them but
    I doubt dealers would want to do it for more price guides.

    One of the other problems is the plethora of 'dealer specials'. Given the limited number of any particular model for any particular year must make collation of 'average price' rather difficult.
