How late can you arrive at a LNA

I will be arriving at Heysham Ferry Port at 11.30pm in June and will be travelling southwards but I don't want to drive far during the night.

Burrs Park has a late night arrivals area but - is it too cheeky to arrive after midnight? I suppose LNA's are provided for delayed folk but I would be planning to be late!

Alternative suggestions would be very welcome. I don't want to stay at a motorway service area.
