Tow bar electrics - Audi they get away with it?

I'd appreciate the club advocating to VAG the need of caravanners in Britain to have power to the fridge and charging to the van battery.

I am currently in dispute with Audi regarding my Q5 which I bought when it was a fortnight old as its first owner found it too small (apparently). It had a factory fitted towbar and this was a significant factor in our decision to buy it. We were not made
aware of the absence of full electrics although we mentioned several times that we were buying the car to tow a caravan on a regular basis. The deaership stance is that the car is perfectly capable of towing a caravan and the absence of full electrics is my
problem so please can I fork out another £500 to have them fitted.

I do not understand how they can charge £650 to fit a towbar when they build the car and not provide full electrics in that price. Nor can I understand why this issue has gone on for so long without being sorted out.
