Battery overcharging?
i have a solar charger from Maplins which has worked OK while the van is in storage, keeping the battery topped up. During the winter the charge hovered around 12.5 to 13.5 volts according to the Phantom tracker which relays the readings to my iPad.
i connected it on Sunday following our last trip. The phantom tracker showed a charge of 14.7 volts on Monday which was very high, but as the sun was shining, I didn't worry unduly, expecting it to drop quickly.. It remained at 14 volts yesterday. However
tonight I find the reading is 15.1 volts. This seems to be way too high and I am concerned that the battery will be damaged.
Should I go up first thing in the morning and disconnect it?
