blade or hitch stabalizer ?

im hopeing some one can help me out which is the best stabalizer a blade or a hitch now i know nothing about both but have spent many hrs on the net and am now more confused than before we have not long since got our very first caravan is an older one elddis
whirlwind 1997 but we love her she is only a two berth and our 1600 laguna pulls it well but due to being a novice my husband is a bag of nerves when it comes to takeing it out so a stabalizer would put him as ease a little but which type and to make matters
worse i have disscoverd that elddis use bpw chassis and not aalco but for love nor money no matter wot site i go on can i find out when they started using bpw so which type of chassis we have i am clueless this obviously makes a diffrence if we go with the
hitch type because if ive done my reserch properly if its a bpw i can only use a winterhoff help!!!
