Question about awnings
Hi, I'm new to caravanning and I'm looking at buying awnings. I've bought a 2nd hand caravan and having tried and failed dismally to put the awning that came with it up I'm looking for an alternative. The one I've got is supposedly a good make (Dorema) but
the cover just didnt seem to fit and the top poles go on hooks on the caravan, but kept on detaching from the frame and swinging down, resulting in some nice dents on the caravan, so I've gone off the idea of that type of frame!
I've been looking at porch awnings, which seem to have simpler frames, but the seal against the side of the caravan doesn't seem as good as a full awning, so I would like to know people's experience with porch awnings or whether anybody is aware of any full
awnings with a simplre frame, more like a modern tent than a frame tent?
