Good areas for dog walks off lead

We have a young Springer Spaniel who needs lots of off lead exercise.The Club's info on best sites for dog walks doesn't really cover this although it does include one of my favourites, Dunnet Bay. New England Bay is a nightmare for us with so many brazen rabbits on-site. The Northumberland beaches and the forests near Elgin are fantastic.Smile

 Can anyone recommend areas for off lead exuberance specifically near the Bolton Abbey, North Yorkshire Moors and Lidalia sites? It would need to be away from livestock and water fowl.

As we really need to venture further south some day I would appreciate any recommendations.
