On-board LPG tank isolation valve stuck ‘shut’

We own a 1999 (Marquis) Mirage 5000 motorhome on a Fiat Ducati Maxi 2.8 litre diesel engine base and have recently encountered a couple of problems which I’d appreciate some guidance on.

Firstly, the motorhome is fitted with an on-board c 6o litre RV LPG tank which was refilled several weeks ago. The LPG tank brass integrated isolation vale, which is closed when travelling,
was working fine but now seems to be ‘frozen’ even when the valve is opened i.e. no gas flows even when the isolation valve is opened fully.

I’ve tried copious amounts of WD40, covered the valve in cloth and soaked in it very hot water (in the hope of expanding/contracting and freeing up the internal valve parts) and tapped the
valve gently, all to no avail.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The second problem relates to loss of engine power following a loud ‘boom’ which I will post on separately.
