Registering French Campervan in UK

Urgent help required.
Just moved to UK from France bringing our French registered campervan with us. Its on a Fiat Ducato 2012 chassis. Bought RHD headlights and tried to change them over but the electrical sockets that connect to the lights are totally different to the ones
on the new headlights. No-one seems able to help. Have tried the headlight supplier and Fiat to no avail. Surely cant be the only person who has run into this problem.
