New signs on Club Sites
The old signs have been taken down, and new signs, which are supposed to be universal across the network are being put up. However, these new signs are a pale green colour, and the 5mph and the direction arrows don't seem as clear - I have watched lots
of vehicles drive the wrong way around the site, and some at quite a speed - I understand the club is trying to appear to be more relaxed and friendly and not over-powering, but rules are rules and need to been seen, even the sign to shut the gate into the
dog walk has been removed and is now constantly left open, unfortunately, people do need to be reminded that to rub along together, we all need to follow the guidelines, the new signs must have been expensive, who wanted the traditional ones removed? Speed
is a problem on all sites, and with the childrens school holidays looming, I am sure lots of drivers will fail to see the direction arrows etc. Why change things just for the sake of change? Some wardens have said they are not allowed to put up signs and
must follow strict rules themselves, but every site is different and surely if something is causing a problem, a clear sign would help, which surely should be at the discretion of the warden, not somebody miles away at Head Office?
