Blackpool CC - closed play area - UPDATE

Does anybody know either from CT or the CC if or when the play area at Blackpool CC site will re-open.

It was closed down back in 2012 due to part of the area being unsafe  We are due there in August for a few days and hopefully by then it should be open.
