Mobile Broadband?

Forgive me if this is not the place for my question but as a new member I'm still finding my way around the C C website.

My question is, can anyone recommend (or advise against) which mobile broadband provider offers the best 'on the move 'service (coverage, reliability, price, etc.). It would be helpful to hear of other members' experiences prior to me making a decision.
I've personally tried O2 in the past but it struggled to do more than let me send and receive emails. I'm not heavy user and so emailing and a bit of web browsing (where's the nearest restaurant, etc) will do me fine.
