Just taken delivery of a Swift Elegance 645, boy what fun I have had trying to get the repeater light to work. Apparently this is a known issue. A special mod is made by Sargent Electrical Systems for Swift to ensure that the repeater light works! No mention of this can be found in Swift literature and I found refernce to others having the same issues on a caravan forum website. Apparently VW and Volvo have knowledge of this and they have adapted their wiring kits to accommodate. The forum suggests that other C/Van manufacturers may also have the same issue. So always ask the dealer to check you tow vehicle for compatability.
