Gaslow DIY and insurance

Hello

I am thinking of fitting a Gaslow system (or similar) to our motorhome, but have been told by our insurance company that it must be professionally fitted and if I fit it myself it will invalidate the motorhome insurance,

Any advice / opinions would be welcome, just how much extra does it cost to have it professionally fitted?
