New Tow Car

Due to a problem with our xtrail which will cost more to repair than the vehicle is worth we need to buy ourselves a new tow car this year,  We are towing a swift challenger sport 554 and found the xtrail was just about right for the tow,  Any ideas with
regards to what a compatible vehicle would be and any good offers out there at the moment.

Both my OH and I are not overly concerned with regards to which vehicle as long as it is reliable and up to the job of the tow.  We were thinking a 4x4 due to the weight but being novices in buying new car we are open to opinions
