Trailer tent video - your ideas and advice needed
I have such happy memories of our family holidays in the trailer tent and think it's a great way to start touring.
I'm at the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show on Tuesday for the day and am taking my video camera. I thought it might be interesting to get some trailer tent footage. What's out there on the market today, is it affordable for families, how to get started (i.e. towbar fitted) and technical advice (such as what can you tow with regards to the date of your driving license and your car).
Just wondered if anyone had any ideas or suggestions on what would be interesting to include. Also what do you wish you had known in hindsight and what advice do you have to offer anyone thinking of getting started?
I found some old photos when visiting my parents the other day. These are the happy memories that last a lifetime.

I was about 16 or 17 in these pics. This is exactly what I love about this type of holiday - the trailer tent was a real home-from-home. The same surroundings but different locations. This holiday was actually in Italy (Tuscany) and we went to Florence and Pizza on this trip. I feel so lucky to have had this type of holiday when I was growing up - from a baby to an annoying teenager!! Having a trailer tent, caravan or motorhome certainly gives you the freedom to tour and explore.
