Wondered if anyone had experience of the above pumps?  I was thinking of buying one but the reviews on-line seem sharply divided between 'brilliant' and 'utter rubbish'. Since both my wife and I suffer with back problems, an air pump does make the job of
inflating the awning a lot easier than the hand pump but given the price of the Breeze, I am a bit reluctant to take the risk at the moment. Any experiences would be greatly appreciated. (I have discounted alternative makes because they are either high volume
/ low pressure and won't inflate the awning fully or, alternatively, run the danger of possibly over-inflating the awning).

    Hi

we have a van go varakal 420, so quite a few bits to pump up and the Kampala breeze does it no problem.

we've had to adapt the fitting to fit the vango, which was a bit tricky, but we've certainly found it powerful enough

We use one of these on a Kampa Air Ace 400 - I have been very impressed for the price

We have one, and it works fine. It does make the job easier than by hand, especially because, of course, this task often comes at the same time as many other set-up tasks associated with caravanning. We have 2 awnings, a porch one and a larger one, and it
particularly helps with the latter. It's not high speed, in the sense it does take a few minutes (never actually timed it), but you can pause for a cuppa or a beer instead of gently working up a slight sweat with the hand version.

Thanks for the comments - I think I will buy one and if it doesn't live up to expectations, it will go back!  I have been using a 240v pump which I bought from Winfields Camping discounted to £5 but it's given up the ghost and also was a high volume / low
pressure type so didn't fully inflate the awning which had to be finished off with the hand pump.
