Bravo BP12 air pump
Has anyone any experience of the Bravo pump for inflating awnings? We have a Kampa Air Pro 390 and the current cheap air pump we have used has finally given up the ghost and I am looking to replace it. At about £80, the Bravo isn't cheap - about the same
price as the Kampa Breeze but I have been put off that one because it is so slow. According to U-tube videos, the Bravo will inflate an awning or large tent within about three minutes, and having a pressure regulator seems ideal for the job - but I would
like to know if anyone has used one and experienced any disadvantages before I shell out that sort of money.
Many thanks - Richard

I am assuming, from the lack of replies, that no one has had any experience of this particular pump. Well, I bit the bullet and bought it and used it for the first time over Christmas. Although expensive for a pump, it is brilliant - inflated the Air Pro 390 in about three or four minutes and automatically switched off when it reached the pre-set pressure. Saved me all the back pain of inflating with the hand pump (which I suffer from). Although intended for inflating dinghies and the like, it is equally suitable for air awnings and tents and much quicker than the Kampa Breeze, which I am told takes about 20 minutes to do the same job.

Hi richardandros, I purchased one of these about a year ago and have found it very good if noisy. I got a 12 volt 7ah gell battery for £12 - £15 off that auction site and it fits into the carry case making the whole thing self contained. Sorry for the late reply, I have been away + unwell.
