Anybody towing with one of these ? If so are they any good ?

    i had a 2008 kia sorento and they are avery good tow car and pretty reiliable hope this helps bassett.

    I have one, 2005. Had it for 3 years now. Very good. Mine's an auto.

    Hi,

    100% yes. I am on my second Sorento 2007, both auto and have travelled all over the continent without a problem. I tow with a noseweight of approx 90 kg and pull a Bailey Senetor Indianna (7.2 mtrs). The boot/luggage area is huge and as you will have guessed
    I'm a happy caravanner.

    Hi, I tow a Swift Challenger with a Serento 2.5D XT, it is an excellent tow car, it's so good, I have to check in the mirror to see if the caravan is still there!!. The Serento this model) has all the extras (leather heated seats, cruise control etc etc)
    and is a great car to drive. Just one point, if you are looking or have found one of this year(2006) check if it has problems with the fuel delivery system which is prone to this and 07,08.

    The tank delaminates in some cases causing the fuel injectors to go faulty. Test drive the car with harsh accelaration and hold the revs, this is when it might cut out. I have had this happen to me and it cost a lot to rectify, but it was worth it in the
    end.
