Tow car of the year?

   I've been reading about this and I wonder, is it just me?

  The towcars are grouped by price, surely the main criteria, if you're buying a car to suit your van, is towing weight capacity?

  The Seat Leon ST car of the year is rated to pull 1200kg, which is fine if you're using a two berth, but where are the cars to pull 1500kg plus four berths. I'm sure that in previous years, the cars have been categorised by weight, or am I mistaken?

       I have a Passat, the bigger VWs and Skodas don't appear, except the VW Amorak truck.
