 I've just been using the Caravan Club edition of the Snooper.

The turn to the first destination was ignored, taking me half a mile further before announcing 'you have reached your destination'. Luckily, I was able to do a U turn and find the site. 

  The second destination I approached, I had written aproach details down. The snooper wanted a different route, which would have taken me a long way down a narrow lane, with tight bends, (which is currently closed due to a collapse). The written route,from
the site directions, takes 100 yds of this lane and was no problem. Yes, I did select 'by the book' route.
