Towing cover

Would like to fit a towing cover to our new Adria caravan but come across 2 problems,first it seems we can't have a cover made specificly for our 'van as no one makes one for Adria's(unless you know differently)so a universal type is only option so do they
fit/look ok and do the job?secondly we only have one awning rail our dealer will fit another for us but is this a good idea or could it cause leaks in the 'van? or should I just stick bigger mud flaps to the car
