Planning ahead we would like to go to Dartmouth Regatta.  Whats the best site as we will be in motorhome so need to be near bus route or walking distance.  Dont mind sites/CLs/local group rallies.  Didnt manage to get away much this year so hopefully more
next.  Thank you.

Hillhead as just opposite the site the "lions" run a park and ride that can be used, buses run every few minutes to Kingswear for ferries to  Dartmouth, one tip on day of air display and fireworks stop on Kingswear side but wear ear defenders for air displayWink

Also Steamer Quay, right on the Dart, with buses and ferries to take you there. There are often rallies nearby too.

Sorry had to edit see the centre and rally details under Community, Local Groups, on the right hand side of this page (you might have to wait for all the rally secs to update the details.)

Nice site...but watch out for the narrow lane from the main road...frequently used by large tractors/trailers which caused one motorhome to be sideswiped and next day a caravan...I was lucky, got out of site early am..
