Ever been refused admission to a CC site ?

Whilst doing a site search on here, I have just seen this paragraph which is available at the bottom of every 'site information' tab .   

ADMITTANCE TO SITE

b) On arrival pitches may be chosen from those available. However outfit size or weight may require specific pitch allocation. The Warden may refuse entry if outfits are deemed oversize or overweight for the pitches available.

Can you just imagine the journey from hell only to be turned away at the gate .. what a nightmare that would be.

I wonder if this is the reason the CC do not do pitch allocations or take deposits, that way they haven't  entered into a contract with us and then can legally turn us away if they choose. Has it ever happened to anyone  ???
