Fridge problems

Just returned from sunny France and had a bit of trouble with the fridge in the motorhome. It has worked perfectly since we had the van but when the temps got to around late 20's it just couldn't cope. Does anybody know if anything can be done to 'pep it
up' a bit or do i just have to live with warm beer and no ice for my G and T !
