Alde heating in Bailey

Just had a new Bailey Approach with Alde 3010 heating system. Love the van, but ,at the moment not very impressed with the heating. I'd read great things about the Alde, but we were away last weekend and could only get the internal temp up to 18 degs with
electric on 2kw and temp set to 30 degs!. All this accompanied by a loud gurgling sound from the expansion tank in the wardrobe!

Anybody else had similar experience. Is this normal or should I get it looked at?
