Fiat ducato battery charging.

As I've read on this forum and other that the batteries on the fiat have a problem with going flat after a couple of week, and there seem to be no solution from Fiat.

so as I have this problem I want to keep the battery on charge using a smart charger. The problem is the battery is under the floor in the cab. Does any one know if there is some kind of connection in the engine bay which the charge can be connected to?
