Alko Spare wheel carrier------Useless!
In over 30 years caravanning I am glad to say I have never had to change a wheel at the side of the road. I decided to check the alko spare wheel carrier on my year old van. In trying to remove the wheel from the carrier it became apparent this would only
be possible by full removal of the carier!! As a consequence I have now taken this uselees peice of equipment off the van. My spare wheel will now go under the fixed bed. Has anyone ever successfully removed a wheel from this carrier at the side of the road?
