scottish trip

Hi. we are planning a trip for next year to the scottish highlands and islands, then over to aberdeen for a week before returning to south wales. We plan to take approx 6 weeks in all to do, it in our motorhome ( 7.02mtrs ) with our two border terriers.Has
anyone done a similar trip and would be willing to advise us on the best way to go about it
