Dogs and their habits...

I have a Pup, i say Pup She is a little over 12 months old. She has been a dream to train, barely a problem during the early months. She has a quirky habit-when i relax, sit, slouch or lay on any of the sofa's She will sit and stare at me wagging her tail
until i allow her onto the sofa. when she is up she makes a bee line for my head, lays next to me and licks my ears and face around my ears. Now before someone asks if she is a 'spud hunting Dog', she does the same thing after i have showered. It isn't a problem,
other than her tongue in my lug sounds like the Ocean lapping at my face. Does anyone else have a Pet with this type of quirky habit?
