Battery care during winter storage

This winter we have decided to store our motorhome undercover in a dedicated caravan storage unit. Should I remove the leasure battery and store at home on a trickle charger. There does not appear to be any facilities to do this on the storage site and the
vehicle will be away for 4 months.
Your advice would be most welcome please.
