The new colour version of the site map was a pleasant surprise when it arrived.  However, after using it to plan a four plus week trip this autumn I found the map to be less than user-friendly.

The biggest problem for me is the subtle use of colours for the various regions.  I am partially colour-blind and some of the shades are indistinguishable.This coupled with the rather crowded data makes the map less easy to use than the previous designs.

What do others think?
