Calor Lite "Shortage"?

At the weekend I'd decided to swap propane (heavy) gas for calor lite (which was done after signing a new contract as you can't do 'swapsies' with lite and heavy)

Thing is.. after talking to the guy in the local camping supplies store I'm under the impression that there is a short supply issue with propane in the "lite" containers.

I'm just wondering if this is a regular summer thing, because they're quite new or just a bloke in a shop talking rubbish?

You thoughts please?
