On Saturday we re-joined the NT after a few years absence. We joined at Carding Mill at the Long Mynd. A very nice lady signed us up for a family membership at £97 per year paying by direct debit. I went on to the NT website today to look for some properties to visit. I was amazed to see that if I had joined online I would have saved about £30 for the first year!!!! When I phoned them they said that the properties do not raise the difference in price and that they get lots of people complaining!!! Not surprised. Their solution is cancel my dad when they set it up in about three weeks and then join on line.. What a palava !! Be warned.
