Brass band players

I may regret starting this, why?

I am at best a third cornet player that enjoys my playing and practice more than my good lady can put up with and any one else for that matter!!

Seriously though, I was of the opinion that there was a CC brass band or players that every now and then got together, is that the case??

More of an issue if that is the case is it a regular meet for like minded club and band members or is it more of a proffessional outfit.

Any info on this topic would be of interest, thanks in advance Pete
