Motorhome visits to sites on journeys

Naturally I enjoy the sites as much as the freedom of my motorhome. Whilst travelling from one end of the country to another what is the policy as a club member should you wish to call in and use facilities at a site, ie empty and fill water, shower, toilets?

Are you obliged to pay for a nights stay or as a member are you allowed to use this to your benefit, after all the price of the stay sometimes does not reflect us motorhomers getting the full use and value of the site in my opinion, I must add this only
relates to club sites not CL's.

Maybe the club staff have a view on this or it may already be covered somewhere in the small print?
