Bolton Abbey- arch access?

Hi,

Well, as newbies we are just starting to book our second year's breaks and want to go to Bolton Abbey as it is one of our nearest sites however I am a little wary of the arches near to the entrance of Bolton Abbey and wondered if it is as 'tight' as my recollection
suggests?

The site instructions follow this route so perhaps I am being too wary?

Any experience or advice is very welcome please?
