Club Emails
Hi Folks
How often have we said "if only I had heard about that?" But no longer with the Club's email communuication system, all the facts and figures instantly on our screens.
The problem I have is that we are now being bombarded with emails "thank you for visiting......... we do hope you enjoyed your stay." "teh latest shorts stay breaks" "touring abroad with latest offers and sites"
It just keeps coming and coming, in fact I'm in two minds to mark it 'Junk Mail'
Its good that the Club keeps in touch but PLEASE not the Heavy Sell. An occassional notification will do. Constant harrasment is not necessery, in fact it is a complete turn off.
I would hate to put the CC site into Spam forever, please have a rethink, subtle marketing is far more effective.

I can't say that I feel "bombarded" by e-mails from the Club. I do have a brief look at them and if they are of no interest I just delete them. On an average day I can get several dozen e-mails so in the scheme of things those sent out by the Club don't
contribute that much to me inbox.David

I don't like the "enjoy your holiday " references. When we travel in our campervan we are not on holiday we are pursuing a leisure activity/alternative lifestyle not a holiday.
I do feel taht this shows how much the Club has lost its original ethos.0 -
Pecol,
You can change your email preferences. Login and go to:
https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/ecommerce/MyProfile/MarketingPreferences/Index
This allows you to remove some or all of the emails received.

I get a lot more junk from other businesses and have no problem with the club but I did adjust my profile to ensure I only get the ones that might interest me. I am afraid one of the problems of the e mail age is a lot of e mails you just do not want.

I don't feel too bombarded and as most have said I delete the ones of no interest but I would like to know important things like the time we were due to travel from Cornwall to home with an overnight stay at Tewkesbury site, we saw on the early breakfast
news that Tewkesbury was under 6 foot of flood water. An email advising us of this would have been more useful than the one saying "enjoy your stay" email.
