Cracked Shower Tray
Hi all,
I wonder if any of you have had problems with cracking shower trays? We have a Swift Challenger 570 which we have had from new and it is now 5 years old. We do use our shower tray regularly but consider ourselves to be careful owners.
Earlier this year we noticed a small crack in the tray and we tried to repair this ourselves. Sadly it has not been successful and the crack is now "marching" across the rest of the tray.
Clearly we need to get this repaired professionally as our DIY solution is not working and we have had a quote for a Speedcoat repair at between £350 - 450.
I would welcome input from any members who have had similar problems and repairs. Is this a reasonable quote? Looking on the net it does seem to be a bit of a problem - so are they fit for purpose?
I look forward to hearing from you.
