Every Winter in our Village a few of us pull Folk out of the Ditches & from Hedges because of skidding off the Road. I don't think it is as simple as ignorance/stupidity, more just lack of concentration. Black ice does not respect four wheel drive, my Truck
is just as susceptible to skidding as anyone else's Vehicle. Frosty conditions are not the problem, the Black ice is. It doesn't look any different to any other form of condition. Has anyone come up with a good Driving tip to counter Black ice?.
