my sterling eccles elite diamond has a sargent ec400 solar panel fitted as standard. has worked fine until this very warm weather. now seems to have given up,no indicator lights showing .(red or green) voltage indicator not showing any charge, have checked
van fuses, all ok nowhere in handbook does it show which fuse controls solar panel,so cannot check. anyone know what else I can do? apart from a trip to main dealer. !

ring Sargent first, they are extremely helpful and will help you run a couple of tests over the phone to help identify the issue...

We have a Sterling Eccles Moonstone with a  solar panel and in hot weather the electric would be cut off. We contacted the caravan dealer for help and was told the solar panel needed a new regulator but for the rest of our holiday to cover the solar panal
on the top of the caravan. It worked, all the electric came back on. When we got home a new regulator was fitted.
