Motorhome Security

We have read quite a lot of articles about security whilst travelling abroad in a motorhome.    Some of these stories vary from break-ins whilst owners are shopping in supermarkets and have parked their mh in the nearby carpark.

We have an immobiliser fitted on ours, but not an alarm, so feel a bit worried about leaving it parked whilst we're both out of view of the mh. 

Has anyone else experienced a break-in with a motorhome and can anyone offer any good advice on this please?

I have suggested to Mrs Jingles that she shops on her own, whilst I sit quietly in the vehicle and listen to the radio.   But that idea hasn't gone down too well.

The bruises should be healed by the time we go on holiday!
