Flat leisure battery

My 95 Ah leisure battery has failed after only 3 years, and now only delivers approx 10 to 15 Ah (at 10 amp rate) before the voltage collapses completely. I've had it charged and load tested by my local garage and they say it's OK. Only thing is the garage
test it at 250 amps like an engine starting battery, and not at 10 amps. As I normally use an electric hook up the battery spends most of its life on trickle charge, and is really only used in anger a few times a year when we camp in the Scotland. I have therefore
not "cycled" the battery (discharging and then recharging) and wonder if this had led to it deteriorating. Has anybody else experienced this problem? it looks like the solution is a new battery, but how should I treat that?
