Interior lighting query

I've had my Bailey Ranger from new, in its fifth year now. I'd always assumed that the two little reading spot lights were 240v, as they only work when van is on an EHU.

All the other interior lighting is 12v, and works whether or not attached to EHU.

However, having a fiddle today, I prised out one of the spot light lamps and found that it is 12v like all the others. A quick glance at the wiring diagram doesn't show a 240v to 12v transformer, so I'm at a bit of loss to understand why these lights don't
also work off battery power.

Hoping someone can shed some light on this.
