BMW now use solely run flat tyres with Audi and other makes poised to follow. Has anyone any experience with these tyres in service and thoughts on the consequences of a puncture in the rural parts of France, where it is unlikely a replacement will be within
fifty miles, the estimated distance a punctured tyre will travel ( and that depends on load!). Red Pennent will charge the first £100 where cost is incurred when a spare is not carried, whilst this is not excessive, as more cases occur in the future no doubt
further clauses will appear in the policy.
